Tuesday, Feb. 5 --- 10:00pm - 10:30pmPerformance at Nova Terra in New Brunswick. It was a great, high energy performance with lots of enthusiasm and support. Thank you to everyone who came out!
Friday, Feb. 15 --- 7:30pm-8:15pmWorkshop for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority at the Yorba Lounge in the Tillett Hall on Livingston Campus in Piscataway. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority has requested that we teach a workshop for them and their guests.
Saturday, Feb. 16 --- 1:00pmDemonstration for Model UN Student Organization in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Brunswick. The Model UN Student Organization has requested us to do a brief show for them. They have committed to promoting our Batizado!!!
Tuesday, Feb. 19 --- 9:00pm-11:00pmWorkshop with Mestre Ombrinho from the group Capoeira Angola Quintal, the first American capoeira master!!! This was a great opportunity to learn from one of the best, as Mestre Ombrinho has taught capoeira for 25 years. The cost of the workshop has been cut from the usual $25 to $10 for all those who attended!!!
Thursday, Feb. 28 --- 8:15pm-8:45pmDemonstration for a Freshman program at Quad 1 on Livingston Campus. The show was very successful and not a single flyer was left! Great job!
Tuesday, Mar. 4 --- 7:00pm-9:00pmRUPA workshop at the Multipurpose Room of the Busch Campus Center. The club lead a two-hour workshop for RUPA before our regularly scheduled practice. This was a great chance for the more advanced students to have a type of teaching experience and for new students and beginners to enjoy a free class with Professor Maranhão along with the people who took the workshop.
